I am a Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with a pluralistic approach, and experience of working with adults of all ages and backgrounds.
This simply means that I view each client as unique and tailor my approach to fit your individual needs. My goal is to support and empower you throughout your journey, with sessions designed to reflect your personal experiences and aspirations.

At The Growing Space, there’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach – everything is personalized to you.
My background and experience

As a psychotherapist with a background in holistic and energy therapy, I bring a deep awareness of the mind-body connection to my work. My passion for supporting others has been a constant thread throughout my career, beginning with roles supporting women and children escaping domestic and narcissistic abuse—an area that remains close to my heart and continues to inform much of what I do today.
I have also co-run a support group for bereaved individuals, an experience that holds special meaning for me. Loss and grief are universal, and supporting people through these challenges is something I deeply value.
Throughout my training and practice, I’ve worked with a leading mental health charity in Cheshire and a small, open-ended face-to-face charity in Rugeley, providing one-on-one counselling. These invaluable experiences led me to transition into private practice, where I now offer more personalized and focused support.

Outside the Therapy Room

Spending time on my allotment is an essential part of my own self-care and reflection. For me, it closely mirrors the therapeutic journey — one that requires patience, care, and the courage to let go of what no longer serves us.
I'm drawn to both the energy of new beginnings and the quiet clarity that comes with release. The changing seasons reflect the natural rhythms of growth and transformation I often witness in therapeutic work.
What is Therapy
Therapy is a deeply personal and unique experience—each person’s journey unfolds in their own way. Finding the right therapist is an important part of that process. Feeling safe, heard, and connected is essential in creating the space you need to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences freely. People come to therapy for many different reasons—but at the heart of it is often a need for support, understanding, and a space to make sense of what they’re experiencing. Life can become overwhelming, and it’s not always easy to see clearly how we arrived where we are, or what we need to move forward.
In my work, I often support clients who feel disconnected, or highly sensitive and emotionally overwhelmed. These experiences can show up as anxiety, low mood, irritability, or a general sense of feeling stuck or out of balance.

How I work
I work from a humanistic integrative approach, which means I view you as a whole person. This approach values your individuality and means I draw on a range of therapeutic models to tailor the work to your unique needs. It also recognises the importance of the relationship between us as the foundation for healing and growth.
Therapy is not just about understanding your experiences intellectually—it’s also about connecting with how those experiences feel emotionally and physically. When we begin to explore the connection between mind, body, and emotion, deeper awareness and lasting change can emerge.
Together, we’ll create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported as you explore your experiences and move toward greater self-understanding and resilience.
Counselling and psychotherapy are powerful forms of ‘talking therapy.’ These sessions can be intimate and personal, so it's crucial that you feel safe, confident, and at ease with me as your therapist. That’s why I offer a free, no-obligation phone consultation—so we can ensure we’re the right fit before you commit to working together.
I offer both short-term and long-term counselling to meet your unique needs.
Please feel free to get in touch to discuss further. I'm here, rooting for your growth and ready to meet you where you are.
